4 new games coming to Apple Arcade in August 2022

Apple announced via @AppleArcade on Twitter five new games coming to the game subscription service in August 2022, including remixes of some of the most downloaded games on the App Store.

You can play these games and more for free with an Apple Arcade subscription that costs $5 a month.

1. Amazing Bomber 2

Not to be confused with the original Amazing Bomberman from the App Store, the new Bomberman game is very similar to what you’d expect from a gaming franchise dating back to 1983. to open the way.

Along the way, you will also blow up your opponents. Apart from the single player aspect of this game from Konami, there is also a multiplayer game where you can play up to three people to help you litter the battlefield with bombs.

2. My Talking Tom+

This is an Apple Arcade-exclusive version of the My Talking Tom series from the App Store in which you play as an adorable kitten. You can even change the style and color of your character’s fur to resemble your own real-world cat. In the game “My Talking Tom +”you will walk a lot, being interested in everything that surrounds you, like any cat.

Of course, you will also be talking to a feline companion and just fool around and play. The game will take your gray matter with a bunch of mini-games and puzzles. As you progress through the game, you will unlock interior items and outfits. The trailer above is from an existing version of the game on the App Store.

3. Jetpack Joyride 2

Launched back in 2011, Jetpack Joyride is one of the most popular endless runner games on the App Store. Exclusive to Apple Arcade, the sequel uses the same type of gameplay that made the first game so popular. As we explained in a separate post, this means that you will equip your character named Barry Steakfries with a jetpack and other items in an attempt to score as many points as possible and collect as many coins as possible. You will need to avoid challenging hazards and fight giant bosses to advance to the next level.

As you’d expect from a sequel to Jetpack Joyride, there’s plenty of power-ups to collect, like a pigeon launcher that ejects fluttering bird robots, or a piggy bank that spills cash. In arcade mode, you can play time-limited levels like Frost Survival where you try to avoid ice projectiles.

4. Love you crazy+

This is another remix of an existing App Store name. In Love You to Bits+, you have to pick up the pieces of Cosmo, your robotic love that has been blown to pieces. The developers note that each level of the game has its own zest. “Each puzzle-filled level has its own twist. One minute you are manipulating a time loop; next, you switch between seasons,” the description reads. There are many easter eggs related to the game to be found in this beautiful point-and-click adventure.
