In May 1980, the hugely popular Pac-Man was introduced to the world, which immediately spawned a cultural phenomenon that continues to this day. Players have been playing with the yellow ball in slot machines for years before finding it on various consoles, mobile phones and other video game platforms. Pac-Man, created by Tohru Iwatani, is celebrating his 42nd birthday.
