The 2022 Pégases du Jeu Video competition will recognize the best French creations, as well as some foreign works.
Back in person at La Cigale, a concert hall located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, for the Pégases du Jeu Vidéo 2022 organized by the Academy of Video Game Arts and Technology and its partners (Syndicat National du Jeu Video, National Cinema Center and FAJV, foundation for helping video games) will be streamed live on Twitch, Le Stream, JVC, Steam and ES1. Presented by the irreplaceable Salome Lagrel, it will welcome distinguished guests from the profession, the media and culture. Exclusive, unseen images and visual/musical performances will highlight this evening in honor of those who make video games in France and around the world.
As with last year’s absence of The Last of Us 2 for Best Foreign Video Game, it’s unclear that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, or even Kena: Bridge of Spirits are missing at least two categories. Recall that 1,500 professionals and members of the Academy of Arts and Technology of Video Games choose the winners by voting in two rounds.
