Vivo India launched the Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro phones last week in the Indian market. The Vivo X80 series devices will go on sale in the country for the first time today. As a reminder, the Vivo X80 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Whereas the vanilla Vivo X80 is equipped with a Dimensity 9000 processor under the hood.
The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro feature 6.78-inch Full HD+ and Quad HD+ displays, respectively. Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro: India price and launch deals
The Vivo X80 comes in two variants – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, priced at Rs 54,999 and Rs 59,999 respectively. Vivo X80 Pro will be sold in 12GB + 256GB configuration, priced at Rs 79,999.
As a starter offer, Vivo India is providing up to Rs 7,000 discount with HDFC bank cards.
Vivo X80: specifications and features
The Vivo X80 boasts a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1000 nits.
Under the hood of the phone is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core processor paired with an integrated Mali G710 GPU. The system-on-a-chip has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12.
The Vivo X80 offers a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor with OIS support. Complementing it is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a Sony IMX663 sensor and a 12MP portrait sensor with a focal length of 50mm and 2x optical zoom. For selfies and video calls, the Vivo X80 relies on a 32-megapixel front camera.
Vivo X80 is equipped with a 4500mAh battery and 80W FlashCharge fast charging. It offers Type-C charging, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a stereo speaker setup. The Vivo X80 comes in Urban Blue and Space Black color options.

The Vivo X80 Pro offers a 6.78-inch Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.
Vivo X80 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and Adreno 730 GPU. It is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes pre-installed with FunTouchOS 12 based on Android 12.
Vivo X80 Pro is equipped with four rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. It is accompanied by a 48MP ultra wide-angle lens with Sony IMX598 sensor and a 12MP portrait camera with Sony IMX663 sensor, 2x optical zoom and gimbal stabilization.
The Vivo X80 Pro also has an 8MP periscope lens with OIS, 5x optical zoom and 60x zoom. The phone is equipped with a laser autofocus module, V1 + chip and Zeiss T coating. There is also a 32 MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Vivo X80 Pro is powered by a 4700mAh battery with 80W FlashCharge support. It also supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The phone has a Type-C charging port, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The Vivo X80 Pro is also IP68 rated, making it waterproof and dustproof.
