Phasmophobia is a multiplayer ghost investigation game that has multiple ghosts lurking. These ghosts are easily identified by their characteristics and the marks they leave behind. In addition, different ghosts have different strengths and weaknesses that make them easier to spot. Yurei is one such ghost roaming the haunted houses in this game. This ghost is said to have returned to the human world specifically for revenge, as it is full of hatred. If you are having a hard time spotting this ghost, then this guide is for you. Here is our guide that presents some of the main key points for identifying Yurei with Phasmophobia.
How to identify Yurei with Phasmophobia
This ghost basically causes the in-game character to lose their sanity. It is possible that you can lose around 15% of your sanity when you are within 7.5 meters of Yurei. Also, the lower your sanity level, the more likely you are to be attacked by a ghost. As an investigator in the game, determine the Yurei using the following scores:
- When Yuurei uses his ability to drain his sanity, nearby doors close. Moreover, Yurei closes the door faster than any other ghost.
- Other ghosts can only close a half-open door. However, Yuurei is able to slam the fully open door.
- If you are experiencing something paranormal around you, just open every door near you. If the door slams and you lose your sanity by almost 15%, then Yurei is around you.
- In addition, Yuurei can also close the front door. No other ghost can do this outside of the ghost event. They are also able to close the door even when you are away from home.
- To collect evidence of the presence of a ghost, the following criteria must be met:
- Ghost Orb – These white orbs can be seen with a video feed, such as a night vision camera.
- Freezing Temperature – The presence of a ghost causes a sudden drop in temperature in the room. This can be seen by using a thermometer or by seeing cold breath coming out of the player character’s mouth.
- The DOTS Projector is a wall-mounted device that picks up the movement of a nearby ghost.
This is how you identify Yurei with Phasmophobia.
