Pinocchio by Guillermo del Toro will be a stop-motion musical fantasy epic.
Produced by Guillermo del Toro, Lisa Henson of The Jim Henson Company, Alex Bulkley and Cory Campodonico of ShadowMachine, and Gary Ungar of Exile Entertainment, co-produced by Blanca Lista of The Jim Henson Company and Grice Grimley with Jason Last as Executive Producer Pinocchio Revisits History Carlo Collodi is about a puppet that magically comes to life to calm the heart of a wood carver named Geppetto. Other contributors to the project include Production Supervisor Melanie Coombs, Cinematographer Frank Passingham, Production Designers Guy Davis and Kurt Enderle, Animation Supervisor Brian Hansen, Puppet Supervisor Georgina Haynes, and Animation Editor Ken Schretzmann.
Teaser for Pinocchio
Pinocchio will hit theaters next November, and a month later on Netflix. The voice cast includes Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto and Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton also star.
