Vivo is rumored to be launching the Vivo X80 series in China soon. The company may launch three premium X80 series Android smartphones in China. These include the X80, X80 Pro and X80 Pro+. The company is expected to announce an official launch date soon. According to rumors, the presentation will take place on April 25, and sales will begin on April 29 in China. Vivo X80 series poster leaked online
The Vivo X80 series is expected to launch in China soon. Ahead of the global debut, a poster for the launch of the Android flagship has been leaked online. According to a leaked poster posted on Weibo, the X80 series will have a huge camera bay on the back. Devices will start up in orange.
The device in the image is equipped with four cameras. Three of the four camera sensors are housed inside a round camera module with Zeiss T* proprietary coating. The fourth sensor, which is a periscope lens, is located in the lower left corner of the camera island. The main camera uses a 1/1.3 inch Samsung GN5 sensor, which is a 50MP sensor. It comes with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support.
In addition to this, the poster also confirms that the X80 series will come with a specially designed Vivo V1+ chip, which probably received some improvements over the original V1 chip.
The last detail, confirmed by the leaked poster, concerns the processor. The X80 series will be equipped with a 4nm chip. According to the leaks, the Pro+ model will ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, while the X80 Pro will ship with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The base model will most likely get a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC.
Other details leaked so far include a 6.78-inch AMOLED display in all three models with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The X80 will feature a Full HD+ flat panel display. The Pro and Pro+ will ship with QHD+ resolution, while the latter will come with a curved display. In addition to the 50-megapixel sensor, the X80 series will feature a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel portrait camera sensor.
