The Polyphony Digital Gran Turismo license may soon be adapted for small and large screens.
A film adaptation of the iconic car sim Gran Turismo is reportedly in the very early stages of development under Sony Pictures Entertainment and PlayStation Productions. Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie) could also direct. The plot of the project is still kept secret. Note that the TV series is also in development and is aimed at the streaming service.
