Why is mass respawn removed from Warzone 2?

Massive Resurgence was added to Warzone 2 in Season 3, but it has since been removed. Rebirth is a popular game mode from the original Warzone that was added to Warzone 2 in Season 2. It is popular due to its fast paced nature and less risky as you can respawn as long as one of your teammates is alive. Now, with season 3, a mass respawn has been added, which is the same respawn mode that was on Ashika Island, but is now on Al Mazra. Let’s see why it was recently removed.

Why was Massive Resurgence removed from Warzone 2

Massive Resurgence was added in Season 3 as a new mode for Warzone before being removed. Season 3 has been more focused on the multiplayer side of things with MW2 rather than Warzone 2. However, balance changes have been made and some new additions such as drone redeployment have now been added to Al Mazra. However, the main new mode added was Massive Resurgence, which is a Resurgence mode but on the Al-Mazrah map.

When players started playing this new mode, they quickly noticed strange and unusual behavior. Specifically, from the gas circle, which closes the safe zone on the map. It would seem that the circle is shown inaccurately and causes a lot of confusion. It also resulted in matches ending prematurely. When Infinity Ward received these reports from players, as well as the rumors that spread on social media, they quickly disabled the mode. They then took to Twitter to announce that the mode had been removed due to this bug. However, the regular duos and trios of Resurgence were then added as replacements so you can continue to play Resurgence.

That’s all you need to know about why Massive Resurgence was removed from Warzone 2. Additional guides like this one can be found in our other Warzone 2 articles.
