Poco has been teasing the launch of the Poco F4 5G over the past few days on Twitter, and today the company has finally announced the launch date for the smartphone. The Poco F4 5G will be launched on June 23rd, exactly one week later.
The device will debut next week and will be available in other markets later. The device will be available for purchase through Flipkart. Over the past few days, the company has confirmed a Snapdragon 870 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Here’s what we know so far about the device.
Poco F4 5G: Specifications
The Poco F4 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, which is an octa-core chipset built on a 7nm process with a peak clock speed of 1.9GHz. The phone will offer Liquidcool 2.0, a 3112 sq. mm and 7-ply graphite sheets to meet the tested thermal performance. In addition, the device is confirmed to be equipped with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, as well as up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Poco device will have flat sides and will be available in multiple color options. In terms of visuals, the device will feature a Super AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. Finally, the company has confirmed that the F4 5G will feature a 64-megapixel main camera on the back with OIS support.
While these are the specs and features confirmed by the company, based on previous leaks, the device will come with a 6.67-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display and a triple camera on the back, and could also have a 64MP main camera and an 8MP camera. wide-angle camera and 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies, the phone will have a 20-megapixel front camera.
In addition, the Poco F4 5G is likely to feature a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. According to the Geekbench listing, the phone runs Android 12 out of the box and will have a MIUI 13 layer on top. In terms of price, the device is priced at around $347 and $308 with bank offers.
