Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Redmi K50 series in China later this year. The company is expected to release several Redmi K50 series smartphones. Rumor has it that along with the vanilla K50 and K50 Pro, Xiaomi will release the K50 Gaming Edition. This device is expected to appear in other markets as the Poco F4 GT.

The Poco F4 GT has been spotted on the IMEI database ahead of launch. The listing suggests that the gaming phone will be released soon. According to the IMEI database listing discovered by XiaomiUI, the device has the model number 21121210G. It also clearly mentions the F4 GT moniker.

Other details of the Poco F4 GT will likely remain the same as the K50 Gaming Edition. According to previous leaks, the phone will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It will also support a 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi may offer a curved screen on the Poco F4 GT. The device will also ship with a cutout in the top center for the front camera.

At the heart of the F4 GT is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. There have been rumors that the device could come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 or Dimensity 8000 SoC. The processor will be paired with 8GB of RAM, at least along with 128GB of internal storage. We can expect it to have more storage configurations. The phone will likely come with a 4,700mAh battery and will also support 120W fast charging.

For thermal management, the device will have a dual VC cooling system. Like the current model, the F4 GT will also feature trigger buttons to improve the gaming experience. As for the camera, the device will have a triple rear camera setup. It will be equipped with a main camera of 48 or 64 megapixels. The rear camera will also include a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP/5MP macro camera. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera.
