OnePlus Buds Z2 will launch tomorrow alongside OnePlus 9RT in China. OnePlus has posted on the Weibo platform where the company has listed the seven major upgrades the OnePlus Buds Z2 is receiving over the OnePlus Buds Z from 2020. Starting at a key point, the TWS will come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). up to 40 dB active noise reduction. TWS will feature three microphones that should help when it comes to conversations.
The OnePlus Buds Z2 is also getting an upgrade in the battery compartment. While the latest generation TWS offered 20 hours of battery life, of which 5 hours with headphones and 15 hours with a case, the Buds Z2 will offer 38 hours of battery life, just like the OnePlus Buds Pro. As for the low latency mode, the Buds Z2 will be able to hit 94ms which should help while gaming.
In addition, in terms of audio, the OnePlus Buds Z2 will have an 11mm moving coil driver and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. For context, its predecessor comes with a 10mm driver and Bluetooth 5. Finally, the new TWS will also have a transparency mode that allows you to keep an eye on your surroundings while listening to music.
Other expected features include a USB Type-C port, in-ear design, replaceable headphones, Dolby Atmos support, and a 520mAh battery inside the case.
