Pokemon Scarlet and Violet let you and your friends explore the land of these adorable creatures. You can invite up to three of your friends on a trip to Paldea. But when you get to Area Zero, which is unlockable after playing, you may run into some issues when merging. Players from all over the world are complaining that they cannot see their friends in Area Zero. To help you fix that, we’ll walk you through how to play Area Zero in multiplayer in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
How to Play Area Zero Multiplayer in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
First, you need to unlock Area Zero by completing all the storylines. This area in Paldea Great Crater features version-exclusive Paradox Pokémon and a brand new biome. However, when you enter it with your friends, they become invisible. This does not mean that they left the party. Due to some glitch or on purpose, you can’t see them. There are speculations that this was done intentionally to keep the version exclusive. But we have a solution for this. In order to play Area Zero with your friends in Scarlet and Violet, you must run into a Pokémon at the same time. Here are the steps to do so.
- Invite your friends to your Union Room
- Then head to Zone Zero and enter it.
- Once you’re inside, choose a place to collect
- Chat with friends and stay in the same place. It can be a tree, a rock, or any landmark.
- Then lure the Pokémon to you.
- The Pokémon will see three targets with you and collide with any of them.
- Once this happens, your friends will automatically become visible.
Now you can explore the exciting Zone Zero and its Pokémon with your friends. This method may be a bug and may be fixed soon.
