Xiaomi India has announced a partnership with YouTube India to provide a free YouTube Premium subscription for up to three months for select Xiaomi and Redmi devices. The offer also applies to the sale of the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet.
All eligible device users will receive YouTube Premium at no additional cost. YouTube Premium provides full video playback without ads, background playback, video downloads and finally a YouTube Premium subscription also gives you access to YouTube Music which again provides the same features as background playback without ads and unlimited downloads.

The YouTube Premium subscription costs Rs 129 per month, which works out to Rs 387 for three months. All eligible devices mentioned in the above list must be activated on or after February 1, 2022. Eligible users can activate this YouTube Premium offer for eligible Xiaomi and Redmi products starting June 6, 2022, valid until January 31, 2023. They can get the same by opening the pre-downloaded YouTube app and following the instructions or by visiting youtube.com/premium. The offer will be available on devices activated after February 1, 2022.
It should be noted that only new users can take advantage of the offer. This means that if you have already used a free trial of YouTube Premium, YouTube Music Premium, YouTube Red or Google Play Music in the past, you will not be able to take advantage of this offer. Eligible users can activate the offer in the YouTube app on eligible devices between June 6, 2022 and February 28, 2023 at 11:59 PM PST. At the end of the trial period, you will be charged Rs. 129 per month after monthly billing for the trial period. Cancel at any time. Refunds for an incomplete billing period are not possible.
Once you have purchased a qualifying smartphone, simply open the YouTube app and follow the on-screen instructions to receive the offer.
