Back in 2018, it was reported that the Peanuts gang would find a new home on Apple TV+. It was a great way for Apple’s fledgling streaming service to get some family content right out of the gate. And since then, we’ve seen both classic and original content appear on the service. And now there’s even more.
Apple TV+ has finally shown off the official trailer for the upcoming all-new Peanuts special, Lucy’s School. The new special is set to premiere on Friday, August 12, 2022. It has a pretty simple synopsis: Apple TV+ says, “When summer ends, classroom fun begins.”
And the official trailer certainly helps sell the idea.
The whole gang is back for this new release including Lucy, Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy, Woodstock and more. Here’s a little more about the plot of the new special, if you’re interested:
The Peanut Gang is nervous about moving to a new school, so Lucy opens her own. She soon learns that teaching is harder than she thought and that change can be beneficial.
