How to (Potentially) Repair Xbox One and PS5 Crashes in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
If you continue to experience the problem, it is definitely worthwhile to attempt these approaches. We’ll list them here in order of “easiest” to “most challenging.”
- Set performance mode for the game.
- Disable Motion Blur.
- Disable VRR (Variable Refresh Rate).
- Make sure the most recent patch is installed.
- Bring back licenses.
- Reboot your computer.
- System software should be updated.
- Get rid of the system cache.
- Completely uninstall and reinstall Jedi Survivor (gross).
- your system’s database, rebuild it (double gross).
According to some study, switching to Performance Mode and turning off certain of the visual options, such as Motion Blur, Film Grain, etc., have helped a lot of gamers thus far. The ideal starting point is there.
It’s also possible that Jedi Survivor has already been background-updated to the most recent patch, but occasionally that doesn’t happen. For instance, I’ve discovered that the PS5 occasionally requires me to force updates because it won’t always download and install updates or patches automatically.
It’s also conceivable that the system crashed because Jedi Survivor was attempting to download the most recent update while you were playing. Check your downloads again to see whether there is a download currently underway, and if there is, let it finish.
Another useful troubleshooting technique is to clear the system cache because damaged files might lead to issues. The performance of the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S can be enhanced by manually clearing the cache when this naturally occurs over time.
