To build a fire that will last for a long time, you need to collect two sticks, one rag and a lighter from the emergency kit. To find wood, look for it on the ground. To find the fabric, check the containers of the crashed helicopter. When you have all this, follow these steps:
- First open your inventory by pressing I and then equip the stick.
- Then look at the ground for white dotted outlines to appear. But keep toggling it by pressing the right mouse button until a small circle outline appears to place the stick vertically.
- Once you see a small circle with a white dotted outline, click the left mouse button and it will work.
- After that, take the fabric from your inventory and wrap it around the stick by pressing E.

The process of making the Skull Lamp is similar to the making of the Permanent Fire. But for this you will need 1 stick, 1 cloth, 1 skull and a lighter from the emergency kit. To get the Skull, the player will have to search for dead remains in the Caves. Now let’s take a look at the walkthrough and start building.
- First, go to your inventory by pressing I and take the stick.
- Then hover over the ground to make a white dotted outline appear. And keep switching it by pressing the right mouse button until you see the outline of a small circle.
- Once you see a small circle with a white dotted outline, press the left mouse button to place the stick vertically into the ground.
- After that, put on the cloth from your inventory and wrap it around the stick by pressing E.
- Then take the skull and press E to place it on the stick.
