The Poco M4 Pro was launched globally back in November. However, the phone was only available in select European markets. Now it looks like Poco is gearing up to launch the Poco M4 Pro 5G in the Asian market as well. After some silence on social media, Poco on Twitter shared a 5-second video on the platform teasing the launch of the Poco 4 series device.
This time the slogan is “Step Up UR Game”. In the image, the phone can be seen in blue, but we can expect the phone to be available in multiple color options as well.
Poco M4 Pro 5G Specs
Pro 5G based on the global version of Poco M4 Pro 5G is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC based on 6nm process technology. The phone comes in three configurations, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, and supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM. On the front is a 6.6-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. It also features DCI-P3 color for a wider color gamut and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
Moving on to the cameras, the Poco M4 Pro features a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. Inside, the Poco M4 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 33W Pro fast charging support. Other features include an IP53 rating, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an X-axis linear motor, an IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual speaker setup.
The basic version of the device costs about $270 worldwide. The device was recently spotted on the NBTC certification website and we should be hearing more about the launch from the company soon.
