The freebie giveaways on the Epic Games Store are ongoing, and today players can qualify for free in the online first-person shooter monster festival called “Second Extinction”. In the game, players battle hordes of mutated dinosaurs in an attempt to reclaim the Earth. Players can team up with up to two friends and together they can take on these giant dinosaurs using all the weapons in their arsenal.
Second Extinction puts a lot of emphasis on team-based gameplay and is primarily a co-op shooter designed to be played with friends and other players. Developed and published by Systemic Reaction, Second Extinction is currently in Early Access, which means the developers are currently gathering direct player feedback to bring the game to zero at launch.
Free to play on the Epic Games Store allows developers to receive a lot of feedback as many players will request the game for free during this period.
