Alleged live image of Vivo S12 Pro leaking online reveals dual selfie cameras

Vivo is preparing to debut a new S-series smartphone in China. The company will launch the S12 series, where the vanilla S12 is expected to launch alongside the Pro model. Two Vivo smartphones with model numbers V2162A and V2163A have been spotted on the TENAA website. The two devices are expected to be the Vivo S12 Pro and the vanilla model. Vivo has yet to announce an official launch date for these devices. While we wait for it, another key detail of the S12 Pro has surfaced online. A live image of the alleged S12 Pro has been spotted in the wild which reveals some key specs. Let’s take a look at Vivo S12 Pro specs, live image, features and other details.

Vivo S12 Pro live image, TENAA and 3C listing

The Vivo S12 Pro is likely the company’s upper mid-range offering for the Chinese market. A live image of the device shows that it has a wide notch at the top of the display. The notch is similar to what we saw on older iPhones and Pixels. However, the upcoming Vivo smartphone in China is equipped with a dual front camera. One of the two front cameras has a 50 MP main sensor. The second can be a portrait or ultra-wide front camera. The direct image also shows that the device has a curved display.

The TENAA device listing doesn’t reveal much either. However, it has been spotted on the 3C website (via GizmoChina) which has confirmed its charging speed. Vivo S12 Pro will likely support 44W fast charging out of the box.

Other details of the device are currently unknown. These two Vivo smartphones will be launched as an upgrade from the S10 series launched earlier this year. They feature a high refresh rate AMOLED display, a Dimensity chip under the hood, and up to 108MP triple cameras on the back. Vivo is likely to make some minor changes and launch the S12 series as an optional upgrade.
