Moto G71 5G launch unveiled, specs include Snapdragon 695 processor, OLED display and more

Motorola recently launched the Moto G31 and Moto G51 5G. Now, the Lenovo-owned brand may be preparing to launch a new G-series phone. According to the latest leak from whistleblower Yogesh Brar, Motorola will release the Moto G71 smartphone in the second week of January. Recall that the Moto G71 was announced a couple of months ago along with the Moto G31, Moto G41 and Moto G51 5G.

Moto G71 Features and Specs

The smartphone boasts a 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, DCI-P3 color gamut, and a hole-punch cutout. The phone uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, which provides 5G connectivity along with. The processor is built on an 8nm process and comes with an Adreno 619L GPU. The device comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

The Moto G71 offers a triple rear camera and LED flash. The primary sensor on the device is a 50-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture. It is equipped with an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the Moto G series phone offers a 16-megapixel camera.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a capacitive fingerprint scanner on the back, and support for Dolby Atmos. The phone is sold in three color options – Neptune Green, Arctic Blue and Iron Black.

The Moto G71 also has a P2i coating that makes it water repellent. Connectivity options include Dual-sim, 5G, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou. It weighs 179 grams and measures 61.2 x 73.9 x 8.5mm.
