Vivo today launched two new Vivo S15 series devices in China. The company introduced mid-range devices Vivo S15 Pro and Vivo S15. The new Vivo S15 duo joins the Vivo S15e in a series that was launched back in April.
The recently launched Vivo S15 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, 4500mAh battery and 80W flash charging. On the other hand, the regular Vivo S15 is powered by Snapdragon 870 and comes with a 4500mAh battery paired with 66W flash charging. Vivo S15 Pro and Vivo S15: price and availability
The Vivo S15 Pro starts at CNY 3,399 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 3,699. On the other hand, the Vivo S15 starts at CNY 2699 for 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB is 2999 Yuan and the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at 3299 Yuan.
Vivo S15 Pro: Specifications
The Vivo S15 Pro features a 6.56-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 92.7% screen-to-body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR content. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC clocked at up to 2.85GHz. The phone comes with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS3.1 internal storage. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
In the camera department, there’s a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera that doubles as a macro lens, and a 2MP portrait lens. At the front, the phone offers a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera can shoot videos up to 4K resolution. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 (v5.2 on S15), WiFi6, a Type-C port, and NFC. The Vanilla Vivo S15 boasts a 6.62-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 870 SoC with 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 onboard storage. The phone packs a 4400mAh battery with support for 66W flash charging.
In addition, the Vivo S15 is equipped with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There is also a 32MP selfie camera. It can also record videos up to 4K. It measures 161.09 x 74.31 x 7.99mm and weighs 197 grams. Other specifications are similar to S15 Pro.
