Take-Two Interactive recently released its latest earnings report and it looks like it has revealed a timeline as to when we can expect Rockstar’s GTA 6. As arguably the most highly anticipated game in video game history, Rockstar looks like they’re biding their time. with Grand Theft Auto 6 as Take-Two’s FY 23-25 pipeline doesn’t list giant Rockstar.
The FY23-25 schedule lists games such as Marvel’s upcoming The Quarry and Midnight Suns, and New Tales from the Borderlands, but does not include GTA 6. the 25 scale will be provided with the Q4 FY2023 results, so there is a small chance that Grand Theft Auto 6 will appear in this particular thread.
For now, Rockstar has confirmed that GTA 6 is indeed in development, but hasn’t offered any updates since that infamous tweet.

GTA 6 may not release until 2025, according to Take-Two’s current FY23-25 plan
Rockstar Games has been criticized for crunch in the past, and the studio has completely overhauled its development schedule and work environment after Red Dead Redemption 2. This likely means that both the publisher and studios will be trying to avoid crunch. as much as possible – which probably means a longer development cycle for GTA 6.
The pressure on Rockstar is huge to release a timeless classic with the upcoming game, and the scale and scope of the game should be pretty mind-boggling considering what they’ve been able to achieve with past Grand Theft Auto games. In addition to the workload, it is essential that Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Online receive constant quality updates.
Rockstar Games has yet to reveal any further information about the game, so it looks like players may have to wait a while before we hear or see more about GTA 6.
