Apple TV+ App Launches on DirecTV Stream Set-Top Boxes

The Apple TV+ app is available on DirecTV Stream set-top boxes, an additional way to access the American giant’s streaming catalog.

This is the first time the Cupertino-based company’s streaming service is available on DirecTV Stream, a multi-purpose device offered to subscribers that supports live TV, streaming apps, on-demand content and DVR recording. Satellite TV provider launched this product in 2020; subscribers can rent it for $20 a month and it’s included in some premium plans. In addition, this box comes with a remote control offering access to the Google Assistant.
