Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will release in 2023. And the game seems to be very successful!
Disney is far, far away from doing away with the Star Wars license. This has been observed for several years with an increase in the number of films and series. And it can also be seen in video games. Today, fans are looking forward to the sequel to the hugely successful Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. And the least we can say is that with this Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the promise is big.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Coming in 2023
Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the direct sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, which was first announced earlier this year, is coming soon. During the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, the studio revealed that Jedi: Survivor is a direct sequel to the 2019 adventure game Star Wars: Fallen Order.
Jedi: Survivor takes place five years after the events of the first opus, and players will find protagonist Cal Kestis and his droid companion BD-1, one of the last Jedi in this Empire-ruled galaxy.
And the game looks great!
According to Respawn Entertainment, Day 1 combat will be expanded in Jedi: Survivor, and will likely improve as well. Some players didn’t quite get the hang of the combat in Jedi: Fallen Order and saw it as the game’s ultimate weakness, hopefully the studio will revisit their copy for this opus.
Jedi: Survivor is currently slated for release in 2023, with Electronic Arts planning to release it by the end of the fiscal year, which is March 2023. Respawn Entertainment is currently developing this game for the latest generation of consoles, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation. 5, but the latter will also be released on PC. The studio, at least for now, has no plans to offer it on Xbox One and PS4.
