How to Complete an Unfinished Business Quest in Destiny 2 (Step by Step Guide)

Follow these steps to complete the Unfinished Business quest and unlock the Deterministic Chaos Machine Gun in Destiny 2:
Step 1
After completing the Lightfall campaign, talk to Nimbus and unlock the Unfinished Business quest. Now go to the Hall of Heroes on the planet Neomun. Head towards the door and interact with the approach prompt to start a cutscene.
Step 2
For the next step, return to Nimbus and chat with her. After interacting, you will unlock step 3, where you need to restore Rohan’s Data Packets.
Step 3
Open the map and go to the Lyming Harbor region on the planet Neomuna. There, you must collect 5 Cloud Increments to extract the Rohan data. Each cloud increment requires 8 cipher qubits for you to interact with it. This means you need to collect a total of 40 Cipher Qubits to get 5 Cloud Accretion. Kibits drop after eliminating Vex.
Step 4
In step 4, you are given the task of obtaining the last data pack from the Maya’s Retreat region on Neomun. Next, follow the quest marker to get to the Mayan hideout and retrieve the data pack.
Step 5
After that, you will face a wave of approaching enemies. Use your combat skills to defeat them and finally get the last data pack in Maya’s Retreat.
Step 6
You have half-completed Destiny 2’s “Unfinished Business”quest. After completing step 5, travel to the Radiosonde region on Neomuna and regroup with Osiris and Nimbus. Exhaust the dialogues to unlock step 7 on the way to completing the Unfinished Business quest.
Step 7
In this part, you will return to Laiming Harbor at the northern end. There, you will enter the Thrilladrome Lost Sector and retrieve the Vex compass. PS – Use the ventilation shaft to get inside the Trilladrome Lost Sector.
Step 8
Travel to Ahimsa Park and defeat the Legion troops.
Step 9
Once you’ve defeated the Shadow Legion forces, travel to the Typhon Imperator region. From there, you need to get the Seed of Silver Wings. Here you will reach the ship that can be seen in Ahimsa Park during the campaign missions. Just use the quest markers to find the Silver Wing Seed.
Step 10
Return to the Strider’s Gate on Neomun’s Planet and speak with the Nimbus. You should now obtain Rohan’s Access Key so you can enter the Black Garden. Also, keep in mind that you need an empty heavy slot in your inventory to pick up the password.
Step 11
After that, complete the What’s Left quest by going to Maya’s hideout. During this side mission, you will find and collect the Destiny 2 Destiny 2 exotic machine gun “Deterministic Chaos”. Once you have collected the “Deterministic Chaos”from the Nimbus, defeat the “Conceptual Mind”boss fight to complete the “What’s Left”quest.
Step 12
After defeating the Concept Boss, take its Memory Core to the Nimbu at Strider’s Gate. Last but not least, return to the Hall of Heroes to trigger the final cutscene. After that, you will successfully complete the Unfinished Business Quest in Destiny 2.
