PS5: WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe SSD officially approved by Sony

Western Digital Corporation and Sony Interactive Entertainment have teamed up to release the first officially licensed PlayStation M.2 SSD.

Available for a few months now from Western Digital’s online store and already considered a compatible PS5 SSD, the WD_BLACK SN850 NVMe is now recognized as an officially licensed PlayStation product. Selling at €220 for 1TB of storage or €330 for 2TB of storage, it will be available in several retailers from next August.
