It’s another Sunday and hence we’re adding another incredible set of photo-quality iPhone backgrounds to the iDB Wallpapers of the Week collection. Extremely hot and incredibly cold temperatures are typical of the desert landscape. Remembering these extremes, the smooth blue, yellow and orange gradients of this desert dune iPhone wallpaper contrast perfectly with each other.

I found the following collection via a Twitter post and was amazed at the variety of sky colors. My favorite desert dune boot is the orange-purple sunset. I’m not sure why I’m drawn to it, but I love the bright orange, which contrasts with the cool, deep, royal purple of the coming night sky. Ever since I bought a purple M1 iMac and now a Deep Purple iPhone 14 Pro Max, I feel like I’ve gone too far with purple wallpapers. Maybe it’s the vibe.
As a little bonus, I also posted another jianoliu background I found last. An all-purple mountain landscape completes the desert mountain range. While a lush mountain range is the opposite of a hot desert, rolling mountains with gradient skies are equally in keeping with the aesthetic.
