QuakeCon 2022 will host many community-focused events.
As part of QuakeCon 2022, which runs from August 18 to 20, fans of games from the American publisher Bethesda will be able to attend digital meetings on Discord, global broadcasts of updates to existing and future games, contests, tournaments, charitable fundraisers (American Civil Liberties Union, Dallas Pets Alive and FOUR PAWS), developer interviews or promotions of all kinds. Please note that Starfield will be absent.
QuakeCon 2022 Schedule
- 19:00 – Marty Stratton of id Software will start the main event with a welcome message.
- 19:15 – Redfall revived with Arkane Austin: Introducing the upcoming vampire shooter with new information, gameplay details and more.
- 19:45 – The Elder Scrolls Online panel to talk about Tamriel.
- 8:30 pm – The Elder Scrolls Online Veteran Dreadsail Reef Challenge: Watch QuakeCon 2021 QuakeCon 2021 ESO Speed Dungeon Winner Olibo navigate the Veteran Dreadsail Reef, completing several challenges along the way – plus donations to work for the QuakeCon Charity, the more challenges will
- 9:15 pm – PC Build 101: Community and PR duo Dewann and CVH tackle a challenge with NZXT to show how to build a PC from scratch.
- 21:30 – QuakeCon Quiz-A-Thon: Fun and competitive Q&A with the Bethesda team.
- 21:45 – World of Cosplay: Panel with Bethesda UK Community Manager Ophelia and special guests to discuss their experience, the creative process of creating props and costumes, and tips and tricks for aspiring cosplayers.
- 10:30 pm – Fallout 76: Learn about the new Expeditions feature, Pitt, and more with members of the development team.
- 23:00 – Fallout 4 Interactive Charity Run: The community team will try to run from the Sanctuary to the glowing sea. Viewer donations to QuakeCon-supported charities through Tiltify will create various items and enemies to help or hinder progress.
Bethesda QuakeCon 2022 will go international this summer. Thus, local broadcasts are planned for North America, Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg), Germany, Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Poland, Australia, the Middle East and Turkey. Fans will be able to enjoy interactive sessions with quizzes, gameplay for Redfall, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, and Ghostwire: Tokyo and Quake, recipes inspired by multiple licenses, PC building guides, and even the legendary Dirty contest keyboard.
Esports competition for Quake Champions at QuakeCon 2022
The Quake Pro League will culminate with the Quake Pro League 2022 World Championship, which will take place from August 18 to 20 at the same time as QuakeCon 2022. The latter will be broadcast from the PGL studio in Bucharest, Romania. 13 Quake Pro League players and 11 qualifiers will face off in a double-elimination draft for the prestigious world title.
