Razer Launches Kishi V2 Mobile Game Controller for iPhone

One of the reasons why the Nintendo Switch is so popular is because of its portability, yet it works great as a home gaming console. That’s why mobile game controllers like Razer’s Kishi are also quite popular in their own right. The accessory connects directly to your iPhone (or Android devices, depending on support), giving gamers even more control over their games.

And now Razer is back with a different version, if you will, V2 of their popular Kishi mobile gaming controller. Some time ago, the company already released a version of this accessory for Android users, but now iPhone owners can have some fun too. It is available directly from the Razer website and costs $99.99.

According to Razer, the Kishi is an improvement over the first generation model in several key areas, including a more ergonomic design. Just as important, though, is even better response times with the A/B/X/Y buttons, as well as better quality and response times with the D-pad. There’s also a pair of multi-function buttons (L4/R4), and Razer says it’s an accessory with “console-quality mobile game control.”

The Kishi V2 also features a retractable bridge, making it compatible with a wide range of devices including iPhone 6S and iPhone SE.

As mentioned above, the Kishi V2 connects to the iPhone directly, while the wired connection is via Lightning. This will also help reduce latency while playing. And it also supports pass-through charging thanks to the Lightning connector present on the controller itself.

The Razer Kishi V2 for iPhone is available now for $99.99.

Or, if you prefer to go the other way, you can always get a Backbone mobile game controller. This company just released a PlayStation-themed accessory back in July of this year. It also costs $99.99.
