Earlier this week, Realme launched the first phone in the Realme 9 series, the Realme 9i. The company is expected to release three more phones in the Realme 9 lineup – the vanilla Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+.
In a new leak, OnLeaks has partnered with Smartprix to reveal design sketches for the upcoming Realme 9 Pro series phone. The sketches also show that the phone will come with a 6.43-inch display. Let’s take a closer look at the sketches of Realme 9 Pro series devices,
Realme 9 Pro series design!
The report does not specifically name the device, but it does say that it is a Realme 9 Pro series device. So it could be either Realme 9 Pro or Realme 9 Pro+. The leaked sketches show that the Realme 9 Pro series phone will come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. The display panel will house a front-facing selfie shooter inside a notch in the top left corner. We can expect it to come in Full HD+ resolution.
On the back, there is a triple main camera and an LED flash. The design of the camera module is similar to the Realme GT 2 Pro that was recently announced in China. The sketches also confirm that the phone will use a Sony sensor as its main shooter.
The volume rocker is located on the left side of the phone, and the power button is on the right side. The power button doesn’t seem to have an in-display fingerprint sensor. This means that we are looking at an optical fingerprint scanner built into the display. As a reminder, Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro also came with an AMOLED display and an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
Realme 9 Pro 5G has already been certified by NBTC, TKDN and EEC. On the other hand, Realme 9 Pro+ has also passed the Bluetooth SIG certification. The Realme 9 Pro+ has also been spotted in the FV-5 database which has confirmed that the device will offer a 50MP main rear sensor and a 16MP front camera. The phone is said to be released sometime in February 2022.
