Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 9 series. A recent leak revealed that there will be four models in the family this time around, including Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Pro Plus/Max, and Realme 9i. While the global launch of Realme 9i is expected in January. The company will reportedly hold two launch events for the aforementioned four phones. Now, a new leak has revealed some information about the Realme 9 Pro Plus device.
Realme 9 Pro Plus spotted in BIS
The Realme 9 Pro Plus that was previously spotted on the IMEI database has now been spotted on the certification website of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) with the model number “RMX3392”. Previously, the Realme 9 Pro+ was marked in the IMEI database with the model number “RMX3393”. It looks like Realme 9 Pro will come with model number RMX3392 while RMX3393 will belong to Realme 9 Pro Plus according to Mukul Sharma’s latest tweet. The certification site did not provide any additional information. But the Realme 9 series is expected to debut in the first quarter of 2022.

Back in September, Realme CMO Francis Wong teased the launch of the Realme 9 series. In a tweet, he mentioned, “The tech industry has been heavily impacted by the global CPU shortage. Brands can either create a dynamic product portfolio or compromise on the processors they use. We have quickly adjusted our product roadmap and as such the release of #realme9series will be delayed until 2022.”
According to a previous report, the Realme 9 series will debut at the end of January or February 2022. The Realme 9 series will include four different models – Realme 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro Plus/Max and 9i. The Realme 9 family was recently spotted on several certification websites, hinting that their launch is just around the corner. Realme 9 Pro with model number RMX3393 was recently spotted in the IMEI database. Realme 9i with model number RMX3491 has also been spotted recently.
