Realme launched the Realme 9 Pro phone along with the Realme 9 Pro Plus last week in the Indian market. The phone has an IPS LCD display and a 64MP triple rear camera. It uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and a 5000 mAh battery. 9 Pro will go on sale in the country for the first time. The 9 Pro comes in two configurations – 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The base variant of the phone is priced at Rs 17,999 while the 8GB variant of the smartphone is priced at Rs. 20,999. Specifications and features of Realme 9 Pro
The 9 Pro features a 6.6-inch Full HD+IPS LCD display with 2412×1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel houses the front selfie camera inside a hole-punch notch.
Under the hood of the 9 Pro is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor, manufactured using a 6-nanometer process technology. The system-on-a-chip includes an Adreno 619 GPU, an X51 modem, up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS2.2 storage.
The 9 Pro offers a triple rear camera and LED flash. The primary sensor on the phone is a 64MP sensor with a 79° field of view and an f/1.79 aperture. It is complemented by an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens with a 119° field of view and f/2.2 aperture. The device also has a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, it uses a 16-megapixel sensor with a 79.3° field of view.
The 9 Pro packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. It has a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes preloaded with Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. The company also promises two major Android updates for the phone.
The 9 Pro will be available in three color options: Sunrise Blue, Midnight Black and Sunrise Blue. The device measures 164.3×75.6×8.5mm and weighs 195 grams.
