Realme has launched two new 5G-enabled mid-range smartphones from the Narzo series. The company introduced the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G and Narzo 50 5G smartphones. The pro version of the phone is under $322, while the vanilla Narzo 50 5G is under $258.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G and Narzo 50 5G are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 5G series SoC. The phones are also equipped with large 5000mAh batteries and they both come with a 48MP main camera on the back. Both new devices in the Narzo series promise to receive 2 years of Android updates and 2 years of security updates.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G and Narzo 50 5G: price and availability
The Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at $283, while the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at $309. It will go on sale via Amazon starting May 26. The phone is available in blue and black colors.
On the other hand, the Narzo 50 5G 4GB + 64GB is priced at Rs 15,999, the 4GB + 128GB version is $219. The top version 6 GB + 128 GB costs $232. The phone will go on sale starting May 24 on Amazon.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G Specifications and Features
The Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 920 SoC with four ARM Cortex A78 processors clocked at 2.5GHz and four Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2GHz. The phone comes in two configurations: 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage on both models. Up to 5 GB of virtual memory is also supported. There is no way to expand the storage here.
On the front, the phone sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 90Hz AMOLED display with 1,000 nits of peak brightness, while inside the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. In terms of optics, the device features a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Other features include a vapor chamber cooling system, X-axis linear motor, Dolby Atmos-enabled dual speaker, Realme 3.2 UI based on Android 12, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone is 7.99mm thick and weighs 181g.

The Realme Narzo 50 5G features a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz screen refresh rate. The phone has Full HD+ resolution and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The design here is similar to the 50 Pro 5G. Under the hood of the phone is a Mediatek Dimensity 810 SoC with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
In terms of camera, the device has a 48MP main camera and a portrait lens on the back, while the front has a 16MP selfie camera. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Other features include stereo speaker setup with Dolby audio, Realme 3.2 UI based on Android 12, and a fingerprint scanner.
