Redmi K50i 5G with Dimensity 8100 SoC, 144Hz display, 67W fast charging coming soon in India

Redmi K50i will soon be launched in India as the rebranded Redmi Note 11T Pro. The Redmi Note 11T Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11T Pro+ 5G devices were launched in China back in May. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen plenty of reports hinting that the Note 11T Pro will be launched as the Redmi K50i 5G and Poco X4 GT outside of China.

Now, a 91mobiles report has revealed the specifications of the Redmi K50i 5G. It is also confirmed that the device will be launched in India, but the exact launch date of the device is not known yet. Redmi K50i was recently spotted on the BIS website.

Redmi K50i: Specifications

The Redmi K50i will feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The display will also support Dolby Vision content. At the bottom, the phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC with four premium Arm Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.85GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores.

Redmi Note 11T Pro Chinese variant

The K50i will come in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants. The phone will pack a 5080mAh battery with support for 677W fast charging. In the camera department, the Redmi K50i is said to offer a triple rear camera setup: a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

In terms of software, the device runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Other features include an IP53 rating, X-Axis engine, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.3, and VC liquid cooling. The device is said to measure 163.6×74.3×8.8mm and weigh 200 grams.

The Poco X4 GT will debut globally on June 23, and Poco will launch the Poco F4 5G device in India. We can expect Redmi K50i to arrive in India at the end of July. It will also be the first mid-range Redmi device (with the exception of the recent Note line) since the Redmi K20 series launched in India.
