Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 line back in October in the Chinese market. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch Redmi Note 11 series devices. The Redmi Note 11 series devices will hit global markets on January 26th.
The Chinese tech company is expected to launch three Note 11 series phones – Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G – to the global market. Xiaomi took to Twitter to make an official announcement about it.
Redmi Note 11 series: what do we know so far!
The Redmi Note 11 series devices for global markets will be completely different from the Chinese Redmi Note 11 models. For those who don’t know, the Chinese variant of the Redmi Note 11 5G has the model number 21091116A. The phone was launched as POCO M4 Pro 5G in global markets and Redmi Note 11T 5G in Indian market.
On the other hand, the Chinese variants of Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G have model numbers 21091116 and 21091116U respectively. These phones were released as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge respectively.
Xiaomiui, a well-known channel focused on Xiaomi, has found the global variants of Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G in the IMEI database. The IMEI database listing has revealed that the global variant of the Redmi Note 11 Pro will carry model number 2201116TG. Whereas, the Note 11 Pro 5G global variant will have model number 2201116SG.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G with model number 2201116SG was previously spotted on the FCC certification website. The FCC listing has revealed that the phone will ship with MIUI 13 preinstalled and will be sold in three configurations – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G is also confirmed to be equipped with a 4700mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. It will be the first Redmi Note series device in the global market to support 67W fast charging. The IMEI list also shows that Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G will also launch as POCO X4 Pro 5G.
The global variant of Redmi Note 11 will be sold in three memory configurations – 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB.
In other Xiaomi-related news, the brand is preparing to release the Redmi Note 11S with a 108-megapixel camera.
