Capcom has had a lot of success with their recent Resident Evil remakes. The studio released a remastered version of RE2 in 2019 and then released a remake of RE3 in 2020, two games have been revised and fixed, with significantly overhauled mechanics and graphics. Resident Evil 4 was originally released on the GameCube in 2015. The game marked a significant shift in the series, emphasizing action over puzzle-solving and overall atmosphere. His over-the-shoulder perspective set a new standard for action horror of that era, and his influence is still present today—even in the RE2 and RE3 remakes.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is scheduled for March 24 on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
