iQOO is reportedly preparing to launch two new Neo series smartphones. The company is expected to launch the iQOO Neo5s and iQOO Neo6 SE smartphones in the Chinese market in the near future. Some details about these upcoming smartphones have surfaced in the past few days. Now, in a recent development, images and key specs (via Weibo) of a vanilla iQOO Neo5s smartphone have been leaked. According to the leaked renders and specs, the iQOO Neo5s smartphone will have a punch-hole display where the hole will be located in the center of the screen. As seen in the leaked images, the volume rocker and power key will be placed closer to the right side of the phone.

In terms of specs, another image shows that the phone will have a Snapdragon 888 processor. The image also reveals that the Neo5s will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will run OriginOS Ocean Edition out of the box. However, at the moment it is not known whether the OS will be based on Android 11 or Android 12. According to the previous leak, the device is equipped with a 6.56-inch OLED display. The display panel may feature Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz display, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
As for optics, the smartphone can be equipped with a 16 MP front camera. The device is speculated to have a triple camera on the back. The device may have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 camera with OIS support on the back. With the light on, a 4500 mAh battery can be used. The device can support 66W fast charging. The phone is also reported to launch with a 256GB storage configuration.
As mentioned above, in addition to the iQOO Neo5s, the company is also planning to launch the iQOO Neo5s SE smartphone. Rumor has it that the iQOO Neo5s SE will be equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor. Similar to the iQOO Neo 5s, the Neo5s SE may offer support for 66W fast charging.
