Realme 9i renders leaked showing triple rear cameras and punch-hole display

Realme is gearing up to launch the next iteration of its numeric series, the Realme 9 series. The Realme 9 series is said to consist of four models – Realme 9i, Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro+ (or Pro Max). According to a recent leak, the company will release the Realme 9i sometime in January 2022. While other devices will be released later due to the ongoing shortage of chips. Now renders of the upcoming Realme 9i have surfaced online thanks to ThePixel. Leaked renders show that Realme 9i will be similar to Realme GT Neo 2.

Realme 9i: renderings and design

The leaked renders show a design language similar to that of the Realme GT Neo 2. The smartphone will offer a modern edge-to-edge display with a notch on the top left corner. A large chin is also visible below. The back of the device will house a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash that will sit in the top left corner inside a rectangular module. The camera layout on the upcoming 9i is reminiscent of the GT Neo 2’s camera layout.

Realme 9i: Specs and features

The device is reported to offer a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution. The phone is expected to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor and 8GB of RAM. The phone is said to have a triple rear camera setup including a 64MP sensor, an 8MP sensor, and a 2MP sensor. The device may have a 32 MP front camera. The smartphone can be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. We can expect the phone to support 18W or 33W fast charging. However, the latest report from ThePixel says that some of the information is inaccurate and the phone will have a 50MP main camera.
