Resident Evil Village was a great experience on its own, but with their latest DLC, you’ll be able to experience more of this award-winning game. In Resident Evil Village Shadows of Rose, you play Rosemary Winters, daughter of Ethan Winters. Throughout this campaign, you will come across several puzzles to solve and progress. One of these puzzles is the Crystal Puzzle. You will unlock the Cleansing Crystal once you solve this puzzle. How to solve the crystal puzzle in Resident Evil Village Shadows of Rose
In the Main Hall of Lady Dimitrescu’s Castle, you will come across a statue with a Purifying Crystal. To unlock the crystal, you will need to purchase three masks.
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
bronze mask
To find the bronze mask, all you have to do is:
- Go to the dining room and you will find a door with a chain.
- Find the bolt cutters in the back door of the kitchen.
- Use the Bolt Cutter to open the chain door to the courtyard.
- A cutscene will show you where the bronze mask is.
- Go to the door across the yard and go to the attic.
- There you will find RW Variant Flask 1, Rose’s first power upgrade.
- Use this power to break the core and get the bronze mask for the crystal puzzle.
Silver mask
You can find the Silver Mask by doing the following:
- Get the monocular key in the main hall upstairs.
- You will also get the ability to stun enemies.
- Go to the bathroom and solve the statue puzzle.
- After solving this puzzle, the path to the basement will open.
- Avoid all enemies and get the silver mask at the end of the basement.
golden mask
Getting the golden mask in RE Village Shadows of Rose is a little tricky. You will have to:
- Go to the corridor and you will find that the old path is blocked.
- There will be another path that will lead to a room with a painting of a snake.
- Using this picture, you will need to solve a puzzle.
- Complete the Snake Painting puzzle using our guide and you will unlock the Triocular Key.
- Use the key to get the shotgun in the dining room cupboard.
- Then go through the courtyard and enter the door on the left.
- As soon as you enter the Opera Hall, you will see a mask in the middle of the room.
- The floor will be covered with a goop, so look for the cores and destroy them.
- After cleaning the goop, you can get the Golden Mask.
Once you have collected all the masks, clear the room full of cores and go to the main hall. Put all the masks on the statue and you will get a Purifying Crystal.
