Rick & Morty: Adult Swim parts ways with showrunner Justin Roiland

Rick and Morty co-creator, executive producer and voice actor Justin Roiland has been fired from Adult Swim following allegations of domestic violence.

Despite the departure of Justin Roiland, Rick and Morty will continue for four more seasons with a new voice cast. Interview sessions should begin over the next few days to find the new voices of Rick Sanchez, a cynical and quirky scientist, and Morty Smith, a restless and easily influenced boy. If Justin Roiland is always credited as a co-creator, his partner Dan Harmon will now be the series’ sole showrunner.
