Rockstar Introduces Paid GTA+ Subscription for GTA Online Fans

Rockstar announces a paid subscription to GTA Online. GTA+ costs $6 per month and offers many in-game benefits.

Paid subscriptions are on the rise, to say the least. I must say that from the point of view of the company, this is very interesting. This provides a certain income much more regularly than with one-time sales. Paid subscriptions have found their way into many industries, including games. And Rockstar intends to take advantage of this today.

Rockstar announces paid subscription to GTA Online

While many gamers are looking forward to Rockstar Games (finally) releasing GTA 6, it looks like, at least for now, the studio is planning to make GTA 5 fans spend a little more this time around. GTA+, a subscription designed primarily for GTA Online players.

According to the studio’s release: “If you’re a GTA+ member, you’ll receive GTA$500,000 directly into your Maze Bank account every month, plus the ability to receive items in and around Los Santos to unlock upgrades. Get monthly subscriber-only discounts, GTA$ and RP bonuses, and more.”

GTA+ costs $6 a month and comes with many gaming perks.

The subscription itself is offered for $6 per month, and as you read above, it offers various bonuses, including credits that will be credited to your in-game bank account every month, as well as exclusive upgrades and discounts and the like. To be fair, $6 a month is a pretty affordable amount, and given GTA Online’s popularity despite its years of existence, it makes sense that Rockstar is trying to monetize the thing even more.

The studio recently confirmed that the next big installment in the Grand Theft Auto saga is in development, but no one knows exactly when this new game will see the light of day. This is probably the reason why so many players still play GTA Online. This is Rockstar’s business.
