Soul Hackers 2 is the successor to the title and the fifth installment in the Devil Summoner series. This is a turn-based narrative role-playing game in which Ringo makes decisions. Unlike other RPGs, this game has just two endings. Some players don’t understand which ending can lead them to the true or best ending, which is canon to the story. How to get the real ending in Soul Hackers 2
When you get to the end of Soul Hackers 2, Ringo will have to choose between two outcomes. These two options you have to do will be after defeating the boss in the District 24 Municipal Tower in the Bone Area. Ringo must make a choice between the choices made by the players. If she answers “Yes”, you will get the Bad Ending. But if you choose the “I don’t want to”decision, you can get the Good or True ending.
Let’s look at both of these endings in more detail:
True or good ending
You will be awarded Moonlight Keys when choosing the “I don’t want”option for the next four interactions. This can lead to a boss fight which can be much more difficult than the other ending. But on the other hand, you get a much more hopeful ending. After you’ve defeated the boss, Ringo has to choose another solution between “Connect with her”or “Let her go”. Choosing the first option will give you an extended cutscene that ends with a helpful and hopeful ending.
Normal or bad ending
On the other side of the plot, choosing “yes”for the next four interactions will reward you with Sunlight Keys. As in the real ending, you will have to choose between two solutions: “Let her go”and “Contact her.”Choosing the first one will give you the Bad Ending. This will trigger an extended cutscene with a darker ending compared to the true ending. But it has a bittersweet ending.
If you want to complete your trophy collection, you need to complete both of these endings. Since you can start NG+ by saving your data, you can complete the other ending as well. You will receive the Paradise Lost achievement for beating the game with a good or true ending. On the other hand, you can get Beyond the Infinite for beating the game with a bad ending.
