- Launch of Saints Row (2022).
- Click on co-op campaign mode in the main menu.
- Here you get two options:
- Host Game: This allows you to host a game from a previous save state. This is useful as it allows you to restart the game instead of starting from scratch.
- Host New Game: As the name suggests, this allows you to host a new game. So you can choose the difficulty and start playing from the very beginning.
- You need to make sure you’re friends with the person you want to play with on the Epic Games Store.
- Choose any of the hosting options, then after starting the game press Escape.
- Here, select Co-op.
- Then click “Invite a Friend”.
- This will show you a list of your friends. It shows you both the ones that are online and offline.
- Click on the friend you want to invite, then click “Continue”on the pop-up window.
- Your friend must accept the invitation.
- Finally, after they accept your invitation, you must click “Accept”on the popup to allow them to join your game.
How to join the game
You can directly send a request to a friend to join their game using the Epic Friends tab.
- Press Shift + F3.
- This will open a list of all your friends on the Epic Games Store.
- Click on your friend’s name and click Join.
- Wait for your friend to accept your request in their game.
When they do, both of you will be able to play together.
