Samsung Galaxy M53 5G Storage, color options leaked ahead of Indian launch

Samsung has confirmed the launch date for the Galaxy M53 5G in India. The company will unveil its new Galaxy M series smartphone on April 22 in India. The upcoming Galaxy smartphone was unveiled earlier this month globally. The device will arrive in India with the same specifications as the global variant.

Samsung will announce pricing and availability information for the upcoming Galaxy M53 at an event on April 22nd. Ahead of the official launch, a new leak has revealed the RAM, storage and color options of the Galaxy M53 5G India variant. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G will be the next mid-range smartphone from the company to launch in India after the Galaxy M33 5G. The debut of the device will take place on April 22. It will be available for purchase through Amazon India, Samsung’s online store, and several other channels. Ahead of the launch, tipster Sudhanshu revealed the RAM, storage, and color options for the device.

Tipster claims that the Galaxy M53 5G will come with two storage options. The base model of the Indian variant will have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will be a different storage configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. In addition to this, Sudhanshu notes that the phone will be launched in two colors – blue and green.

Other characteristics of the device will remain the same. The Galaxy M53 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It also supports 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a cutout in the top center for the front camera.

It comes with four cameras on the back. The phone has a 108MP primary camera sensor. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro photography. The main camera has support for optical image stabilization (OIS). For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32-megapixel front camera.

Under the hood of the Galaxy M53 5G is a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. A 5000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. It is currently unknown if the India variant will include a 15W fast charger in the box. The phone supports memory expansion using a microSD card. Users can expand the memory up to 1TB. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. Finally, the phone runs OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
