Samsung will likely release the Galaxy S22 series early next year. The company will introduce three new flagship smartphones as part of the upcoming S series. These include the S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. Samsung has yet to confirm a launch date. However, the rumor mill claims that the Galaxy S22 launch event will take place on February 8th. While we wait for official launch details, some key details regarding the display features have been leaked online. Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphones will have a brightness display on any smartphone, according to a new report. Let’s take a closer look at the specifications, features and other details of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, S22 Ultra.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, S22 Ultra display specifications

According to a new report, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and S22 Ultra will have the highest peak brightness of any smartphone released so far. SamMobile claims that the standard displays of the two premium smartphones will have a standard brightness level of 1200 nits. With HDR content on an AMOLED screen, brightness levels can reach 1750 nits.

While the difference between the 2021 and 2022 Ultra models won’t be big, the S22 Plus will get a significant upgrade. The peak brightness of the S21 Plus display is 1300 nits. In terms of competition, the S22 series will overtake Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra with a maximum display brightness of 1700 nits.

The Galaxy S22, which is the base model of the three, won’t get any major upgrades and will have a screen brightness of 1000 nits and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits.

Other Features and Features Presented So Far

The S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra are rumored to feature 6.1-inch, 6.55-inch, and 6.8-inch displays. While the S22 and S22 Plus will have a Full HD+ display, the top tier model will have a 6.8-inch screen. All three devices will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 SoCs, depending on the region. The Ultra model will likely get 45W fast charging support for a 5,000mAh battery, while the other two variants will get 25W fast charging. The S22 will have a 4,000mAh battery, while the Plus model will have a 4,500mAh battery.

Design renders of the Ultra have been leaked to the past. This confirms that the device will have an S Pen slot on the bottom edge. The Ultra model has a quad-camera setup on the back with a 108MP main camera. The camera package also includes a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and two 10MP telephoto sensors with support for 3x and 10x optical zoom. According to LetsGoDigital, the other two models will have a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 12MP f /2.4 telephoto lens.
