Samsung Galaxy S22 leaked charging speed information ahead of launch

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series will launch on February 9th. At the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event, the company will unveil three flagship devices. These include the Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra, and S22 Plus. Little is known about future Samsung smartphones.

Adding to the list of confirmed specs leaked so far is the new list of DEMKO certifications. The listing confirms information about fast charging of future Samsung smartphones. Let’s take a look at the specifications, features and other details of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.

Samsung Galaxy S22 DEMKO series certification

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will feature advanced fast charging technology. According to a new leak, the phone will support 45W fast charging. There are rumors that there is a 5000 mAh battery under the cover of the phone.

DEMKO’s listing (via 91Mobiles) shows the S22 Plus will also be among the Samsung phones with 45W fast charging support. The base model will support 25W fast charging. While the Galaxy S22 Plus is said to pack a 4,500mAh battery, the vanilla model may come with a 3,700mAh battery.

Samsung is unlikely to pack a fast charger in a box. Buyers will either have to use their old chargers or purchase them separately. All three models will feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or Exynos 2200 SoC depending on the region.

The Ultra model will feature a quad-camera setup on the back with a 108MP primary camera. It will be equipped with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and two 10-megapixel sensors with support for 3x and 10x optical zoom. The other two models will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera. We can expect the two devices to also come with a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 12MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

In terms of display, the vanilla model will have a compact 6.06-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution. The S22+ will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The top model Ultra will have a 6.8-inch curved 2K AMOLED display. All three phones will support 120Hz refresh rates. The S22 Ultra will also have a dedicated S Pen slot.

All three Samsung phones will run OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box.
