The upcoming Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 has been unveiled, a rugged smartphone that avoids a lot of hassle.
The vast majority of smartphones today are geared towards design and the use of more or less valuable materials for a “luxurious look”such as metal or glass. In use, this is quite noticeable, but at the same time makes these same smartphones too fragile. We wish they were a little more resilient from time to time. To do this, you must go into a completely special category. Samsung is also preparing a new model.
Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro 2 unveiled
If you’re looking for a smartphone that you can carry around without worrying about potential scratches or worse, Samsung might have something for you. According to multiple images posted by @OnLeaks and Zoutons.ae, the South Korean giant is currently preparing a new Galaxy XCover Pro 2 rugged smartphone.
A reliable smartphone to avoid a lot of hassle
There are already several models in the Galaxy XCover line. In other words, this is not Samsung’s first foray into the rugged smartphone market. The South Korean giant has already tried this several times over the years, but the Galaxy XCover Pro 2 is the latest. Based on the specs that have also been leaked, it is clear that the device will feature a 6.56-inch flat screen, a dual-sensor rear module, a notch fingerprint sensor, and even a 3.5mm jack.
Under the hood, rumors seem to converge that an Exynos 1280 chip should power the device. In other words, it’s more about durability and sturdiness than pure performance here. For the rest, we note in particular the presence of Android 12. It is difficult to assess how stable this device can be, we do not even know what reinforced elements it will still benefit from. We’ll have to wait for Samsung’s official announcement to take place to find out, we don’t really know when, probably in the coming weeks. To be continued!
