Samsung is expected to release the next iteration of the Fold and Flip devices in the coming months. Renders of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 have already leaked online. Now, a new report from Sammobiles says that the brand will also launch the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with 1TB of storage. For those who don’t know, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is sold in 256GB and 512GB storage configurations.
Sammmobiles says the 1TB variant of the upcoming Fold 4 will have model numbers SM-F936J, SM-F936N, and SM-F936W. Based on this, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be the brand’s second device with 1TB of internal storage. For those who don’t know, earlier this year Samsung also released the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 1TB of storage.
Let’s see what we know about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4: what we know so far!
Specifications and features of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 have been leaked several times in the past. The upcoming foldable model could be the first device in the series to feature an integrated S-pen.
The Z Fold 4 can be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process. The foldable device is expected to have a 4400 mAh battery. However, it is said to support the same charging speed as its predecessor. This means the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will only support 25W fast charging.
According to a recent leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 could be the brand’s first foldable device with a 108MP camera. According to the leaked render, the device will offer a triple rear camera just like its predecessor. In addition, the upcoming foldable model will feature an under-display selfie camera, which we first saw on last year’s Fold 3.
