Samsung has confirmed a new launch event in India. On March 29, the company will hold a virtual event where it will unveil new Galaxy A series smartphones. Samsung has not confirmed which smartphones it plans to introduce as part of the Galaxy A series in India. The company recently launched Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23 5G and Galaxy A53 5G in India. We can expect the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and Galaxy A73 5G to make their debut at the A Series launch on March 29th.

Samsung has confirmed that it will launch two new Galaxy A series smartphones in India, which could be the Galaxy A33 5G and A73 5G. Starting with the Galaxy A53 5G, the phone features a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate panel with a notch at the top center. There is a quad camera on the back of the phone. It has a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the A33 5G has a 13MP front camera.
Under the hood, the phone has an Exynos 1280 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. Users can expect the India variant to have 128GB of internal storage. The phone will have a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. There is nothing surprising here, since Samsung does not provide a charger in the box. The Galaxy A73 5G features a taller 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a cutout for a 32-megapixel front camera. The phone has a quad-camera setup with a 108MP main camera and a 12MP ultra wide-angle sensor. There are also two 5-megapixel sensors for depth and macro photography.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 778G SoC. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. Both phones run OneUI 4.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. It has an IP67 waterproof rating.
